Rabbitts on The Issues

The Town of Monroe is full of beauty and character. However, there are many issues we need to tackle together as a community to make sure Monroe can continue to be a place people can raise their families in

Fix 17M and Enhance our Infrastructure

Building Roads with a Purpose

It's a story all too familiar with folks in Monroe: playing a game of chicken with potholes and praying you didn't just damage your vehicle

It doesn't have to be this way. With the right leader at the helm, and one with relationships and connections with the state, we can make our roads a top priority

The Town of Chester was able to get their section of 17M paved, there is no reason we in Monroe can't do the same

Update Our Comprehensive Plan

Bringing Monroe Back to the People

A town’s comprehensive plan is at its core a town’s vision for its future. The last time ours was updated was 2017: nearly a decade ago.

As Town Supervisor I would move to update this plan, with community input so that residents have a true say in what Monroe is and will be.

Bring Fiscal Responsibility

A Balanced Budget, A Balanced Community

Our Town Taxes recently had a hike of over 10%. That just doesn't happen out of nowhere. It happens because of poor management at best and extreme neglect at worst

As your Town Supervisor I will make sure that our budget gets a full audit and comprehensive review. Taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going, and if there are avenues to relieve that debt burden that arent being explored due to politics.

Remove Unecessary Entitlements and  Reimbursements for the Town Supervisor

Serving the People, Not Pockets

Currently our Town Supervisor has given himself the title of Budget officer to the tune of over $10,000 stipend

This is before mentioning the various reimbursments that have cost taxpayers over $300,000. That is money that can be used to help residents and the town, not line the pockets of a politician's pockets

As a staffer for over 6 years, I have never required an overzealous reimbusement to do my job. And I won't start now.
